I've seen this photo a couple times circulated without credit.
Y'know, the bosses love to rob "employees" of credit so let's make an effort to credit photojournalists and other creators. Taking folks' credit off their works is part of the type of culture that enabled mass rip-off via AI and thus mass unemployment.

I'd also like all the porn shared on here to be ATTRIBUTED to the best ability of the people posting it, but that's an old mania of mine and I've long since made peace with the fact that most people don't share it or give even a tiny fuck about it.
As for the alt descriptions, I have OK vision but I'm still amazed how often I need (want) alt text to help me puzzle out WTAF I'm looking at. Being somewhat face-blind and color vision impaired no doubt contributes to that.

The official NASA #APOD API does not return a credit line/license for most images that are actually copyrighted or shared under an attribution license.
Even worse, the documentation states that images that don't return a copyright field are under public domain, which is almost never the true!
