Kill team ork kommandos kommando burna boy. All of the ork kommandos have now been painted.
Just finished the base for my #Tiamat "mini".
I'm really happy with rock coloring. I was going for granite, and I think I did decent. Also really happy with the environmental effects (leaves, bushes, dirt) and the bloodstains. Still trying to figure out if I want to add scorch marks.
Worst part about it is it'll be mostly hidden by a giant dragon.
Estimate 10 hours of painting

Tiamat's coming together. Got the wings done, got the scales done. Next I think is putting a black wash on. After that we'll see what extra details need to be done. Then I'll probably put on the topcoat and then move to working on the base.

My partner's been traveling on vacation for a week, and I've painted soooo many minis.

1 young blue dragon

5 werewolves
2 alligators
4 banners
3 oozes
2 djinn
1 earth elemental
Spent all day #MiniPainting. This is what I've done today!
I'm particularly pleased with this blue dragon, which I painted to resemble the gorgeous sea slug with the same name. Dragons are always so boring and monocolor and I love spicing things up a bit. (I didn't paint the little sea beastie. That's just it's natural look!)
Also got a handful of werewolves finished as well as a bunch of statues.

I ain't gonna lie. I'm poor. So my first thing for a minis game is how open to proxies the community is. Which is a big part of why #Battletech is my main wargame. I use whatever detritus & extras are on hand and nobody blinks an eye if I got my sheets & army calced out.
Biiiiig Rima.
My #DnD character, Rima Sahr, is a rune knight fighter. Rune Knights studied the magic of giants and have the ability to grow a size larger in combat. If you then case enlarge/reduce on them, they double in size again.
I have a 3D printer.
She's already the size of an action figure and I still need to print a huge and a gargantuan version (at 18th level I can become size huge before casting the growth spell)

I've painted 43 #DarkestDungeon #minis so far but still have 75 to go. If I paint 3 a week every weekend between now and November, I'll finish just in time for Wave 2. Ignore the fact that I'm getting about 500 #Gloomhaven minis early 2025.
Look what I made!
This is a Purple Worm for #DnD. They are large and scary. I'm new to #3DPrinting and this was my first large print. It took several tries to get the print to come out because it kept coming off the build plate due to the size. Fortunately one of the failures (the second head part) turned out to be useable anyway!

I'm so proud of these!
I made some rubble piles for #DnD and I'm extremely happy with how they turned out. The rusted chain I think looks particularly good. I also enjoyed being able to use up all the leftover junk from previous projects. Wooden boards from tables, clay plates and bowls, some spare skulls, all tossed in to the heap!
