Periodic reminder to myself that I am not a full time #maker and so should not hold myself up against those who are being paid to work on projects as part of their living or in retirement. I have a full time job which supports my family, and a volunteer 'job' as a director and event host at a makerspace. So it is no surprise I have no time for my hobby making (even at the makerspace which has essentially become work that I pay to do). In my spare time I hopefully inspire kids to explore tech.
The #bass is done. Shout out to New Perspectives Music for the plans and guidance. Since I don’t play, my daughter is the tester and says it plays well. I’ll revisit the setup in a week or two. Single active pickup is from EMG and the strings are from Ernie Ball bought at ‘N Stuff Music in #pittsburgh. Done making a few reference designs for an I2C and power over RJ45/twisted pair daisy chaining system (similar to the SparkFun QwiicBus but hopefully a little cheaper as I'm building it myself), just need to order the boards and see if it blows up, I've done work adding load switching and TVS diodes (following helpful pointers by @gsuberland ) which I've never worked with before so I'm quite scared I've messed this up a little if anyone can look over and advise
#Happy420 Day! Den Tag zum Anlass genommen, habe ich heut ein weiteres Development Release meiner #CanGrow Firmware zusammengeschnürt und den v0.2 Entwicklungsstand in den Git main gemerged, da dieser nun voll funktionsfähig, wenn auch noch nicht feature complete, ist :)
Neben einer aktualisierten Readme im Git Projekt gibt es auch unter den Release pre-built Binaries zum direkten Upload auf euren #ESP :)
