S2k-Leitlinie des AWMF zu Geschlechtsinkongruenz
Am 10. März 2025 wurde nach sieben Jahren intensiver Entwicklung die S2k-Leitlinie „Geschlechtsinkongruenz und Geschlechtsdysphorie im Kindes- und Jugendalter – Diagnostik und Behandlung" veröffentlicht. Diese medizinische Richtlinie ist ein wichtiger Meilenstein für Deutschland, Österreich und die Schweiz, da sie erstmals einen einheitlichen Behandlungsstandard für trans* Kinder und Jugendliche festlegt und eine veraltete Leitlinie von 1999 (aktualisiert 2013) ablöst. Aus der Perspektive eines trans* Menschen, der unter Geschlechtsdysphorie leidet, sind die Empfehlungen der Leitlinie insgesamt begrüßenswert.
