I have such a hard time discussing the world with my young adult daughters now. Every news story is some politician or group woke up today and chose hate, chose violence, chose to make someones life suck.
I can't even imagine that. We don't even have the framework to discuss it because it feels so alternate reality wrong.
Name one good thing our country can proudly point to.

Elon Musk’s chatbot has gone on a tirade, praising Adolph Hitler and parroting antisemitic tropes.
These populist movements are easily subverted by the wealthy and manipulated into targeting outgroups within the population instead of those who created the problem. The greater the hatred and bigotry, the better the situation becomes at distracting from the root cause. It is divide and conquer, plain and simple.
