Most of the windows on this house have been replaced with uPVC, but a few are still the traditional double glazed wooden windows the house was built with.

These have an undeservedly bad reputation because often they're poorly maintained and drafty, but with some maintenance and modern sealants they can perform quite well.

Cleaned up, caulked and painted this one today as it was quite badly weathered (it's south facing).

The same window as before, but all gaps and the edges where glass meets wood have been caulked and then painted with two coats of white latex paint. The whole thing looks nicer and whiter now.
