Firefox adds experimental web app support on Windows, but without implementing the full PWA specs:

(Mozilla implementing another feature which nobody asked for at its current form, ignoring what users actually want, and treating Linux as second class citizen again while 99% of distros ship it ootb. Tipical Mozilla move.)

Firefox's on-device AI features get 10x faster due to replacing the WebAssembly (WASM) build of Microsoft’s ONNX Runtime with native C++ version:

Zen browser 1.15b released with Firefox 142 base, option to create and organize folders from the sidebar, add tabs to folders by dragging them, redesigned icons, etc.:

Fixing bugs and going fast is cool 😎 but sometimes one also needs to slow down and do the work that is less fast, less glamorous, and -possibly- less cool. ☺️

Today's stream is going to be a bit delayed, starting in ~40 minutes at 11:30 UTC. Instead of going fast, I'm going to be following on all the bugfixes I did over the week for #BugsDoneQuick and responding to the comments I've received from the maintainers.

LibreOffice's codebase is absolutely massive (~50M lines according to cloc?), and it very much got me beat the other day, when I "speedran" a scant 2 bugfixes in 7 hours.

So today, I'm going for a rematch! Let's see if better tools (rr, ctags) and better understanding of #LibreOffice code is going to be enough for me to get a bugfix in under 2 hours for #BugsDoneQuick! :joy:

Does anyone have a suggestion for wirelessly getting iPhone camera video over to OBS with audio input selection for wireless mic packs? We heart droidcam but the lack of audio selection is a bummer. (Tried both Bluetooth and connected DJI packs it always goes to internal mic). Vdo.ninja was close, but a bit laggy and not as high quality in our testing. I tried experimenting with Larix Broadcaster and SRT in OBS, which looks like it’d be perfect but was getting 3 sec of delay 😓

We run a few streams off laptops (I know I know. I’ve fought against it.) and they are absolutely cooking themselves to death in hot warehouse. Want to have just the iPhone connect to remote a broadcast machine.

IT'S HAPPENING!

Thanks for everyone who voted above; it's been sufficient votes to convince me that. I. am. doing. this! (in July 😁)

bojidar-bg.dev/blog/2025-06-12

Now, if you would be kind enough to suggest bugs for me to do while speedrunning, either in the form on the above-linked post or just here, that would be awesome and much appreciated! 💚

bojidar-bg.dev · Announcing: BugsDoneQuick, July 6-13 - I need bugs, stat!I'm going to livestream myself while I speedrun fixing bugs on different FOSS projects - and I need you to suggest issues for me to fix!

I have a wild idea: doing 7 days of ~8-hour live-streams titled "Bugs Done Quick", where I go through ~20 lucky #FOSS / #opensource issues and fix them. The dates would coincide with this year's #GamesDoneQuick, so, July 6-13.

I don't have much experience streaming, but I've done it ~twice in some form and seem to enjoy coding live before an audience.

Timezone-wise, the stream would be EU morning/afternoon.

Thoughts? 😊

(🔁 boosts for reach appreciated)

What do you plan to play or watch this weekend?

We'll be streaming more Chrono Trigger adventures on Sunday night.

Offline we're playing Marvel Rivals, Soul Nomad & the World Eaters, Monster Hunter Wilds, and starting Persona 4. We're watching Twin Peaks: The Return. One of us is going apartment hunting and another is going out of town to visit family.
