@LinuxTorvaldIsGod I know that #GTK is very popular among developers on the #Linux platform, but isn't it possible to find alternatives for all of these applications [1]?

The #KDE / #QT ecosystem also has excellent applications (#Krita, #LibreOffice QT, #KDEnlive, #Shotcut, #QGIS, #DigiKam, #OBSStudio, #Friction, #PDF4QT, ...). There are many #Electron-based applications (#Chromium, #RStudio, #Slack, ...) and those applications using other toolkits (#Blender, ...)

If you mean actual PDF editing (without the need to import from or export to PDF), then there is only one open source project:
#PDF4QT flathub.org/apps/io.github.Jak
This is an actual PDF editor. For smaller tasks, there are several apps for reading, highlighting, marking, commenting, reshuffling of pages etc.

If you also consider a #PDFEditor which is not open source, then there is #Qoppa #PDFStudio . It is very comprehensive and similarly powerful as Acrobat: qoppa.com/pdfstudio/
