@reidrac ohh, I haven't used an MSX emulator myself.
I'm not sure how I feel about a filter being on by default. I am too high to debate how I feel about that.

Does anyone know any good Xbox 360 Emulators?
I do still have my old Xbox 360, but I want to be able to play some Xbox games on my Steam Deck.

Bashing my head against a wall cuz of people who don't understand how the #NintendoDS backwards compatibility works between older DS models and the newer ones that don't have a #GBA slot, but act like they do
The #DSi got rid of the GBA hardware along with the GBA slot. The DSi hacks are #emulators
On New Year's Eve I received a gift from a girl. It's called Arcade box. Emulates everything. From Odyssey/MAME to ps1/n64
It's love
Well, the Watchers have descended upon Earth and all hope was lost. All that's left now is what was left when I played #Drakengard as a kid. That's right, we're collecting the last few secret weapons and running through the final ending, which ties into #NieR, somehow. Come stop by for the conclusion of this odd old #PS2 game on today's #Sunday #Stream #Shenanigans!
We skipped Ending B last time, completely by accident, so today we're gonna try and finish that, before diving into the deep end that is endings D and E. You won't wanna miss this one, so come stop by and chill with us as we defeat the goddess, call down the Watchers, and get closer towards #NieR on our journey through #Drakengard on today's #Sunday #Stream #Shenanigans!
"Here's a pleasant surprise: For once an emulator is being discontinued, and it's not bad news," writes @wes.readonlymemo.com for his newsletter, @readonlymemo. He discusses how the Lime3DS, which picked up the code from Citra after Nintendo's settlement with Yuzu, is joining forces with another developer to create a new, yet-to-be-named emulator. "No longer will development be fragmented between these forks, and instead all progress will be made in a single coordinated effort," the Lime3DS devs wrote in their latest update." Also in this issue, an update on N64 core developer Robert Peip's emulator work, and a fan translation of Saturn RPG Princess Crown that is proving messy.

WordStar, an MS-DOS-based word-processing program released in 1978, was loved by writers as diverse as Ralph Ellison, Anne Rice, and George R.R. Martin, because of its ability to capture the long-hand writing experience. Now, we can all give it a try thanks to Robert J. Sawyer, a Hugo- and Nebula-winning author who has released a complete archive of the program, along with MS-DOS emulators and all its manuals. Here's more from Gizmodo.
PCSX2 2.0 is the first major stable update to the popular PlayStation 2 emulator in four years. Major changes include an updated UI, auto game fixes, per-game settings, better game compatibility, and the end of plugins. https://buff.ly/3xOaMn9 #PCSX2 #Emulation #Emulators #PS2 #PlayStation2
Please boost for reach: There's an open issue on Github about adding scripting support to Retroarch. This would enable scripts like the Pokemon Access mod to be ran on Retroarch, hopefully allowing blind people to actually play the game while mobile. I tried it out and am already making a team in Pokemon Emerald, and in the woods in the first few areas of the game! If anyone is good with adding Lua to things, or if anyone is good at modding games and wants to enhance the Pokemon Access scripts, I'd really appreciate you looking into this.

Okay y'all, Retroarch is now accessible on iOS! You *will* need a keyboard or gamepad to play and use the user interface. PSP games work great though! Just download all the core updates and needed core files for PPSSPP, if you plan on playing PSP games, and you're good! #accessibility #RetroArch #blind #blindGaming #emulation #emulators #gaming #iOS Link to the App Store page: https://apps.apple.com/app/id6499539433
A few more notes about video games and VoiceOver Recognition: the story mode of Blazblue reads very well with screen recognition, even better than Windows OCR! In some games, when menus have descriptions, you can tell which menu item you're on by the description of the item at the bottom. With the Provinence app, audio latency is amazingly low with my AirPods Pro 2. So, playing games using those is really, really amazing! No *game mode* needed! I can't wait for more blind people to get into this! #accessibility #blind #gaming #Provinence #iOS #RetroGames #emulation #emulators

Apple’s emulator about-face is good for everyone – Six Colors

Less than two weeks after Apple changed its rules on emulators, Riley Testut’s Delta game emulator climbed to the number one spot in the U.S. App Store within twelve hours of its launch.
Congratulations @altstore! Becoming the first official 3rd party app store for iOS is a mighty achivement and doing it open source from the begining is incredible.
Lovely announcement on @rileytestut's blog about the whole thing which I recomend everyone read:
