If there's something that stands out about "Hellfire", it's that it tries to be diverse, presenting three phases with completely different appearances and seemingly disconnected from each other—although, of course, that’s not actually the case. Taking on the role of #Ulises, we must overcome them, and they will progressively become more difficult. #ZxSpectrum

I've been tinkering with pixel-art version of the cover of "An Illustrated History of UFOs" (#zxspectrum style) but I've been playing with a couple of alternative colour schemes and not sure which I prefer.

@ancientjames Hehe! Is it actually selecting facial expressions to match the sounds (audio frequencies?) of the speech, or is it just showing them randomly?
(This reminds me of a program I wrote on my #ZXSpectrum long long ago which only did the latter, with UDG faces/expressions (in a 4 character square) that I created myself, but it did a “reasonably” convincing impression of mouthing away as whatever text I had accompanying it scrolled up the screen… )
Alien premiered on May 25, 1979, 46 years ago today. Some time later, its version for #ZxSpectrum arrived, which suffers from a presentation that is overly schematic, typical of an early 80s #RPG. However, it manages to convey all the tension of the movie once you learn how to play it well. #Retrogaming
