There was a monastery here in 1123 and some sources even say there has been religious settlements since the 5th century. In the 17the century it was reconstructed by the Girolamini order (you can see the date 1610 above this window). It's a deconsecrated church and has been closed since 1806. However it's been under reconstruction since 2019 so it may be open again soon to the public! ✨ <br>

A bit geeky, I know, but I love this old stone wall in the Yorkhill area of Glasgow. I've got no idea of its age, but it leads down to the former Bishop's Mill, on the banks of the River Kelvin, which was built in 1839.
