Andreas Scherbaum<p>I despise how the <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Geocaching" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Geocaching</span></a> website shows me red circles where I can't create a new <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Geocache" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Geocache</span></a>. I place a new cache outside of all red circles, and get a reviewers note that this location is not available because of a distance conflict.</p><p>Happened for the third time now, that is just frustrating.</p>

Jour 29 : "Explorateur.rice".
Pour ce thème, j'ai choisi de vous partager un aperçu des plus belles ruines ou bâtiments délabrés que j'ai pu observer sur mon trajet lors de mon #VoyageAVélo entre Paris et Athènes.
Une cathédrale inachevée en Italie, des ruines au bord de l'eau en Croatie, un château en ruines envahi par la végétation en Croatie, et des bâtiments délabrés en Albanie.
Et bien sûr, j'ai quasi systématiquement pensé à chercher la #géocache qui ne manquait pas de se trouver dans les parages, pour aller jusqu'au bout du côté "exploration" 
(prime acc 1. Walked past the remains of an actual shipwreck on the sandy shore for a #geocache, the perfect opportunity to Speak Like a Pirate in the activity log.
2. Mustered enough energy to cook asparagus with eggs for dinner.
3. Slept more than 8 hours. More protein, potassium, and zinc, and less caffeine with cooler weather seem to be soporific.

We had a wonderful day with @mlanger who generously invited us on her boat. We went from Point Roberts to Patos Island where we hiked around, found a #geocache , and enjoyed fresh caught Dungeness crab for lunch.
Our trip south was choppy but my daughter loved it. Our trip back north was much smoother.
I now have found a geocache in every county in Washington!
I had time this evening for some awesome BBQ and #geocaching in downtown #Calgary. It’s a nice evening out.

#Urlaub Tag 12:
Sehr früh aufgestanden, vor 5:00, da wir mit der WoMo Nase nach Osten direkt am Meer standen. Ein paar Fotos vom Sonnenaufgang gab es, dann hat es arg zu regnen angefangen. Wir haben den weiteren Sonnenaufgang aus dem WoMo beobachtet, Kaffee gekocht und es uns gut gehen lassen.
Nach dem Frühstück sind wir ein paar Kilometer weiter nach #TreldeNæs gefahren und haben dort eine schöne Hunderunde gedreht.
Danach ging es weiter #Børkop, einen weiteren #Troll #EneØjesten von #ThomasDambo besuchen.
Die Trolldame sitzt auf dem Gelände bei einer alten #Wassermühle, welche aber samt zugehörigem Cafe leider geschlossen hatte. Den #Geocache beim Troll konnten wir schnell finden. Beim Parkplatz waren Tische und Bänke und so gab es ein zweites Frühstück und danach fuhren wir weiter zu einem #gårdbutik um ein bisschen einzukaufen. Einen #Pintrip Platz haben die auch aber direkt an der Straße auf dem geschotterten Parkplatz, nicht sehr schön.
Also weiter und jetzt stehen wir beim #DanskMotorOgMaskinsamling, einem Museum für alle möglichen alten Maschinen, die ältesten von 1868. Das Museum hatte bei Ankunft schon geschlossen aber stehen dürfen wir hier und wenn wir morgen mal etwas länger schlafen, schauen wir uns das auch noch an. Nach einem kleinen Spaziergang mit den Jungs wird jetzt noch ein bisschen beim WoMo rumgegammelt.

Doing some #geocache today

1. I petted a #BunnyRabbit at an animal shelter today. Thanks to watching hours of bunny behaviour, I kept him mellow and happy. He was gracious and revelled in the strokes from his nose to past the ears.
2. Found, easily, a #geocache for which I solicited help using another #Mastodon account years earlier. That I had to guess one or two digits didn't matter, as we searched only one place.
3. Made #graybeh (Middle East shortbread) and a lemon loaf for #CanadaDay

Went geocaching with the kids for the first time yesterday. What a brilliant idea, a magical way to transform an ordinary walk into an adventure. Can't wait to do it again.
