I mean, I'd not have any issues with a "shitty" #Netbook if it's prized acceptable.

And not €220+ for a Laptop with an #Atom #Z8350 & 2GB RAM and a 32GB eMMC that was €199 at lauch 10 years ago and €149 5 years ago.

Cuz then I might be better off buying a used #ThinkPad with #USBc, remove the dead battery and stap a Powerbank to it.

Speaking of dead #LaptopBatteries: I propably have to mod my #X230tablet so I can #DIY some replacement battery.

Tho I'd rather start the #NUCbook project instead or buy a @frameworkcomputer / #Framework12 instead...

Sage green #Framework12 preordered, in batch 1 shipping in July :)

Bit spennier than I hoped for at £864 with my chosen config, but it's still a cool machine and I'm happy to go for it.

I'm super hyped for this thing. If the price is right — and every indication is that it will be — I'm going to be recommending this thing to everyone who asks me for a laptop recommendation for the next several years.

Also, it looks like a future screen upgrade might be possible

Heck yes!

I'm planning on downgrading from my Yoga to it — to support @Framework and encourage their development of the 2-in-1 form factor.

My hope is that they do a mid-/high-end 2-in-1 with an AMD APU at some point in the future.

I really want to see @frameworkcomputer release the #Framework12 for a killer price...

Ideally starting something like €499 w/ tax & stylus in a 1000-pack or €699 single...

Can't wait fir actual specs & pricing details.
