@atomicpoet It seems to me that the #fediverse is the natural evolution of the original idea of the internet and the web. But in the meantime, everyone thought it was a good idea to let companies take over the evolution. What we got, however, are monopolies. Mark Zuckerberg is trying hard to create a new Verse monopoly (the one with the glasses), but many users are starting to realise what has been going on for the last 20 years and are refusing.
