I think I prefer #discourse still, but a music friend persuaded me to sign up on a #XenForo forum and upon my initial pokings-around it seems pretty nice.

Disappointed, but not surprised, by the utter lack of interest in #ActivityPub over at #XenForo.
XF 2.2 was released in Sep 2020. XF 2.3 will drop sometime this year, however, IMHO, none of the new features were worth waiting 3+ years (a lifetime ago) for.
In the meantime, #forums like #Discourse are testing a plugin, #Flarum 2.0 will support #federation, and #nodeBB plans to join the #fediverse too. I'm sure there are more.
I really want to migrate #BeerAdvocate to another #forum platform.
