Everybody claims to do org transformation these days. So many people brag to have "done" transformations. I once met a 29-year-old who boosted she had "guided several larger transformations in corporations."
Fine by me.

We believe, however, that #transformation, by definition, is #transformative: It means to "overcome the system"! That is the opposite of #optimizing, #implementing, or bringing in #tools. Here, a system's principles must change from set A to set B.

How is #transdisciplinary research designed? Based on previous work on real experiments by Gross and others, the #research path begins with analyzing the boundary conditions and then to bring together people who want to solve a #transformative challenge. Together knowlede is generated. In the case of the #Chiemgauer curency we had a look at the statistics and the current situation. Then we had three open workshops with the result to start a project with an #climate incentive.

The European Federation of Academies of Sciences and Humanities (aka All European Academies, #ALLEA) just released an excellent critique of #APCs and #transformative (read-and-publish) agreements, building up to an excellent set of recommendations, including #RightsRetention.
