I went to bed, fell asleep fast, and woke up feeling totally rested - thinking most of the night had elapsed and the alarm clock was due to make its noise soon. Checked the clock: only 2 hours had passed. #TimeWarp

Many of us are still on holidays here in #Australia (Silly Season/Summer Vacation). It’s a dreamy time-out-of-time when we’re collectively cushioned by the Australian cultural tradition that nothing very serious is likely to happen in this country until after Australia Day/Invasion Day (January 26th).

I’m celebrating this special time when everyone — from businessmen, to grandmothers, hipsters and their children — has the freedom to wear board shorts and thongs (flipflops) while sauntering along the main street, eating in cafes, meandering down to the creek for a swim, or strolling to the beach.

No prawie, bo na etapie postprodukcji usunąłem część „statycznych” i prywatnych materiałów. it seems like a simple #DIYAlgorithms would be a #TimeWarp algo: the posting time for people you mutually interact with more decays more slowly, or is stickier at the top of your feed.

maybe tunable with two single exponential functions for
- strength of time warping and
- duration of past interactions to compute time warping from
or whatevs
