Metroid Prime OST - Menu Select

Unexpected but very welcome finds in a stack of James Last, Roger Whittaker and oompah records in my local secondhand bookshop just now. Both first pressings, seemingly mint/unplayed.
Koyaanisqatsi is one of those releases I've owned on at least three formats.

Expedition 33 has an awesome soundtrack. I can't recall any game that even comes close to it. Just too much good stuff, in multiple genres, concentrated in one game. Lorien Testard came out of nowhere and showed everyone how it's done.

Midnight Club 3 Dub Edition Soundtrack: Twista - Overnight Celebrity

I know this is one hell of a late #VGMWednesday post, but since today is Genealogy of the Holy War's anniversary, I thought a tribute to the music from my favorite #FireEmblem would only be appropriate.
I've decided on the Chapter 7 theme from the Arranged #Soundtrack - it's one of my faves from the album, in no small part because it's so atmospheric. It literally screams "desert" in your face!

Ich weiß, dass das ein verdammt später #VGM Wednesday Post ist, aber da heute das Jubiläum von Genealogy of the Holy War ist, dachte ich, eine Hommage an die Musik aus meinem liebsten Fire Emblem-Spiel wäre nur angemessen.
Ich habe mich für das Kapitel 7-Theme aus dem Arranged Soundtrack entschieden - einer meiner Favoriten aus dem Album, nicht zuletzt wegen der puren Atmosphäre. Der Track schreit buchstäblich nach "Wüste"!
