half marathon with 650 mEG
Weather seemed cloudy and rainy so made the mistake to go at noon without enough water.
Of course clouds cleared out soon and it got quite hot.
Despite staying below 150bpm, walking a lot, the last 5/6k were pretty tough. Should have eaten and drink more...
Still a nice day out.
Today I opted for an hour on the indoor bike instead of an hour of running. Garmin allows it. This gave my running legs some recovery time.
Tomorrow back to running

Ran 5k on the trail today after work, because people hate trees and they forget the city gets unbearably hot when there isn’t tree cover. So, trail.
It’s about 1k from my house to the trail and 3k of trail.
So those 3k of trail were manageable.
The 1k I had to run from my house to the trail and then from the trail back home were very hard.
Temperature was about 34C not considering humidex.
We really need more trees.
Today's run got delayed until tomorrow, where I deff have to do double run !!
Darn, it's good to be in Denmark, weather, trails and food, though wallet and belly is getting a beating :)
Nice read about the differences between Road and Trailrunning.
"you want to move your feet as rapidly as you can tippy tap them while still maintaining good posture""
"The best downhill runners are moving their feet fast enough that any misstep is already corrected for by the next step."
This is something I recognize already from when we where hiking the mountains decades ago.
