@getimiskon Lets just say, I hope #Gimp3 gets more than a move to #GTK3 but a complete overhaul in #UI & #UX...

They just work out of the box.

@dimkr actually I have the compiler warnings almost gone (you can see in the CI) . The ones I know zero about are #flex and #bison warnings.

GTK2 is purged, many deprecated (not all) functions updated, including font_chooser, color_chooser and vte stuff.

Soon I'm going to attempt porting to GTK-4 - but will be a separate project instead of a bunch of #if s

Just upgraded #mobian #Trixie and all the #GTK4 apps have lost the ability to enter #DarkMode. At first I was blaming #Carburetor (the #tor toggler) but no, it's everything. #GTK3 apps like Geary are working fine though🫠

Did this happen to anyone else? Anyway, in the meantime maybe I should just make light of it 🙃

(PS: I hope I got my GTKs right someone please confirm)

Update: installing back xdg-desktop-portal-phosh fixed it; thanks @agx for the tip

Is there any up-to-date list of #QT5 / #QT6 open-source applications similar to the "Awesome GTK" list?

The Awesome GTK list shows native open-source #GTK4 and #GTK3 applications. The list is fairly up-to-date and mostly shows active projects: github.com/valpackett/awesome-

#KDE #FLOSS #OpenSource #QT #Gnome
