An IRL friend sent me this YouTube link to a 33 minute video, about injection molding plastic, but at the MVP disc golf disc factory. Lots of interesting automation, a lot more intricate, robotic, and computer controlled than I would have guessed. The enthusiasm, geeking out over automation and disc golf, is pretty infectious.

I am still recovering from my infected tick bite and haven't played in a week. Enjoy yourself out there.

Ich muss dazu sagen: In unserer #DiscGolf Community gibt es die Angewohnheit, Fotos sich zu posten, wenn man ein Ace geworfen hat - mit der Disc vor dem Korb. Hatte ich noch nie einen Faible für. Aber gut. So entstand gestern dieses Video... Seht und - vor allem - hört (!) selbst.

I had no sooner recommended Rooster Rock East as my favorite disc golf course in Oregon (Friday) than I lost my favorite disc (a purple River) in the bushes on hole 5 (Saturday). I spent an hour bush wacking, then went back to my car and got the pruners and my stick with a nail in it (this isn't my first lost disc) and went back to tearing that blackberry bush apart for another hour. I reduced a 10ft by 10ft area where it should have landed into salad, but never...

Playing #discgolf today and found a red squirrel with a fully white tail.

Czasem czytam artykuł w Wikipedii i od razu widzę, że został napisany jako kryptoreklama jakiejś firmy. Dla odmiany, czytając tekst o disc golfie, czułem, że napisał to ktoś pasjonujący się sportem, komu naprawdę zależało.
I miałem rację, to w dużej mierze dzieło jednej osoby, która na całej stronie zajmowała się tylko tym artykułem.
