@davidho Air conditioning costs a lot of electricity. You need more renewables, often the grids are not made for such an over-use, especially since the big #dataCentres for AI trigger more #desertification in Spain. Nowadays we cool #AISlop, not people.

The AI-driven data centre boom could strain the continent's energy supplies and octuple emissions by the end of the decade, according to a new report.

I wish the fans and occasional users of #ChatGPT would read this, and try to understand that the whole thing is snake oil to trick us into burning the planet even faster than we are - so #gates and #balmer can buy a 10th yacht.
I don't want to die in a flood.
