Preparation for #Marchintosh nbd just a #SteamDeck booting Mac System 7 on the #Basilisk #emulator. Works pretty sprightly, despite my fumbling with mouse controls.

Playing around with old 68k Macintosh emulation tonight. Unfortunately, I never owned such a computer as a kid... the closest I ever got to this was an iMac G3 running MacOS 9.

Today I discovered an addon called Pentadactyl, which is an old FF addon that works with the Basilisk Browser.
This might be what I was looking for!

I love vimb, but the WebKit engine it uses crashes quite a bit, and each tab is a new process, which can lead to memory usage of note when you have a tab party going.
However, Basilisk uses one process and uses a lot less memory, and rarely crashes. #Basilisk #Pentadactyl

Reporting in, that the #razer #basilisk v3 works absolutely flawlessly, on #Ubuntu 20.04 LTS, esp. the free spin mouse wheel switch. The same is to say when connected via a USB hub (Logitech G710 built-in hub).
