Letters "Concerning the Priapism of Queen #Cleopatra and its Remedies" attributed to Soranus, a Greek doctor practicing in Rome during the reigns of Trajan and Hadrian, picture him in correspondence with Marcus Antonius and Cleopatra. The chronology alone shows that these letters are "fanfiction", in which Marcus Antonius writes to Soranus to ask the doctor for help in managing Cleopatra’s lust. Soranus responds with a recipe for an aphrodisiac.

In Arthurian legends, many of King Arthur's knights are so virtuous and devout that God grants them saintly miracles, such as prophetic visions or banishing demons. The most common miracle for these knights is the "laying on of hands" (healing people with a touch). Arthur Hughes
#MythologyMonday: `"Good Donn," said Finn, "have you knowledge of any physician that can cure our men?" "I only know one physician could do that," said Donn; "a physician the Tuatha de Danaan have with them. And unless a wounded man has the marrow of his back cut through, he will get relief from that physician, the way he will be sound at the end of nine days." "How can we bring that man here," said Finn, "for those he is with are no good friends to us?" "He goes out every morning at break of day," said Donn, "to gather healing herbs while the dew is on them." "Find some one, Donn," said Caoilte, "that will show me that physician, and, living or dead, I will bring him with me." #Celtic

The Prose Edda says that the greatest physician and healer of the Norse gods is the goddess Eir (whose name means "protection" or "mercy"). She is apparently a good friend of Frigg, queen of the gods. Other sources describe Eir instead as either a valkyrie or a human. Natasailinic

The McPherson Playhouse theatre in Victoria, BC has supposedly received visits from the "Grey Lady" over the last 75 years. This female ghost wears a long, blue-grey dress and wanders the theatre's balcony; sometimes she floats above the actors. No one knows her true identity.
Greek theatre began as religious rituals for Dionysus; a masked figure adopted a persona to deliver a dramatic monologue. As the art form developed, other actors were added to the performances, and even secular topics were introduced. Masks remained important.

After Loki murdered the Norse god Baldur, the other gods imprisoned Loki. In order to create restraints to hold the shapeshifter, Odin turned Loki's son Narfi into a huge wolf, who tore apart Nari (one of Loki's other sons). Then Odin bound Loki with Nari's entrails. Louis Huard
In Welsh legends, the warrior Iddawc was so eager to witness war and slaughter that when delivering messages between King Arthur and Mordred, he made them as insulting as possible. This destroyed any chance for peace, and thus Arthur and Mordred killed each other. Gino D’Achille

Assorted German kings and emperors sleep under German various mountains.
They are prophesied to return one day, but since this usually means that the Final Battle at the end of the world is upon us, someone should probably make sure that they _don't_ return.
