The day heated up earlier than expected, but thankfully we had shade and a little breeze to help us enjoy our hike.
Today is a special day—our dog Brownie turns 11! 
He’s a one-of-a-kind Jack Russell-Snoopy mix who embodies both the energy of Eddie from *Frasier* and the intelligence of Snoopy himself. Brownie’s favorite thing in the world? Hiking with his humans. 
So today, to celebrate, we’re taking him on a 6-mile hike—his happy place. He’ll lead the way, loving every second of being outdoors with us. Here’s to many more adventures, Brownie!
