Well, @llamasoft_ox and @gilesgoat have supassed themselves with I, Robot. I popped into #PSVR2 to see what it was like, and emerged three hours later, only because the eldest has a swimming class to get to.

Shades of Hovver Bovver and Tempest, with an assault on the senses that has paved neural pathways I never knew I had.

Wonderful balance of puzzle solving and frantic arcade fury, all discovered through cyber-dream logic.

Masterpiece.

1400 euroa maksava Roomba Combo j9+ kävi arvostelupenkissämme useamman kuukauden ajan

Valitettavasti Roomba Combo j9+:n hintalappu on liian kova, sillä tällä hinnalla on tarjolla selkeästi parempiakin roboimureita. Huono Roombakaan ei ole, mutta hinnassa on aivan liikaa ilmaa.

Did Elon Musk rip off "I Robot" designs for his Optimus and Robotaxi products? We might suggest that he's not even trying to hide it. Folks on social media called out Musk for the similarities between the humanoid robot and NS5 design in the 2004 movie, as well as the Robotaxi and Audi RSQ, but it wasn't much of a gotcha, since the Tesla boss titled his Cybercab Robotaxi presentation "We Robot." Proyas, who directed "I Robot" wrote on X, "Hey Elon, can I have my designs back please?" while Matt Granger, who worked as Proyas's assistant on the movie, posted, "I too wish to offer my full-fingered 'f*** you' to Elon and his utter lack of creativity." Here's more from @THR.

"He was in that too?!"

I thought I had a good grip on Alan Tudyk's roles, but there are several here I didn't know about.

I knew he is Clayface on Harley Quinn, but the Joker too?! Does a fine job of it too. I didn't know he did three voices on Ice Age.

This is not just a simple quiz, that's just the scaffolding and we're here for the tangents. Tudyk is all about the tangents, there is never an interview with him that stays on the rails.

"I was the class clown"

You don't say?

Variety: "Does Alan Tudyk Know Lines From His Most Famous Movies & TV Shows?"

(yes, he can place all of them (eventually) except one)

@tess Reminds me of the old joke, Yeah we lose money on every sale, but we make it up on volume!

Really, there’s a bright lining to this: I look at my Roomba that’s been churning away for, what, fifteen years now? With only a few trivial repairs, and that’s impressive to me.

So I end up laughing that the quote should be, “We SOLD vacuums to half the population,” and for better or worse the robots may not be in need of replacement.

I’m a huge fan of #iRobot but at some point mature means solved, and there’s little point allocating more resources to a project that’s done.

Those resources are needed to work on the next problem, and it doesn’t seem like iRobot has much to contribute there.
