They smuggled #FPV drones into #Russia. They later in hid the drones in wooden compartments of modified cargo trucks. They hired unknowing Russian drivers to drive the trucks past Russian air bases. The roofs of the cargo trucks were remotely opened and drones took off to strike Russia’s long-range bombers.

The #Spiderweb special operation in which several #Russian airfields were attacked took over a year and a half to prepare, it is reported.
The operation by the Security Service of #Ukraine was extremely complex from a logistical standpoint. The #SSU first smuggled #FPV drones into #Russia, followed by mobile wooden buildings later. Eventually, the drones were hidden under the roofs of these buildings, which were already placed on cargo trucks.
