The 3 levels of #linux filesystem navigation speed!

1. Navigate using the cd command with the directory path.
$ cd ./my/path

2. Remove cd and only write the path
$ ./my/path

3. Teleport to your path using keywords (#zoxide)
$ z my path

I wonder whether there are still people who often use a terminal who have never heard about #Zoxide. If you live in a terminal and haven't heard about it yet, **please** do yourself a favor and look it up. I've started using it about 2 years ago and I could never live without it again.

Auf meinem Geschäftsrechner #thunar mit #yazi ausgetauscht.
Finde immer mehr Gefallen daran. Vor allem die Integration von #zoxide und #fd sind ne feine Sache. Kann man sehr flott navigieren.
Einzig und allein das Öffnen von Dateien mit dem falschen oder gar keinem mime macht Probleme.

#zoxide erfährt aktuell viel Aufmerksamkeit.

#zoxide is a #cd that learns.

#z is a replacement for cd that keeps track of recently visited directories, allowing them to be accessed by name rather than their full path. z can also disambiguate if two directories have the same name, using a predictable, ordered matching algorithm. Directories are gradually assigned lower "frecency" scores and eventually forgotten if they are not accessed.
