I'm back home from #AgileTD 2024, a place I call home as well. It was such a blast! All these amazing people. Such insightful and inspiring conversations. The wonderful organizers and volunteers who craft the space and make the unicorn land magic happen. Thank you all, I'm taking a lot with me until I see you again next year!
Finally, here are the #sketchnotes I made. Thread.
I'm surprised by how few active blogs I could find about #sketchnotes (or had a category feed for sketchnotes). It's mostly rohdesign and Verbal to Visual, I think. Sketchnote Army still comes out with episodes, but the posts themselves don't seem to be very visual, so people have to click through to the person's website. I guess a lot of people are on Instagram, but that doesn't seem to support RSS any more, and I'm not really keen on scrolling through that. Ah well!
Having not received any convincing counterarguments I extended my playground and now own a Lenovo X13 Yoga Gen 2 convertible with stylus.
I am eager to find out if it is fun to use in tablet mode for reading, marking and making scribbles and sketchnotes in general and on #OpenBSD specifically. Otherwise #Debian will help me out. I'll let you know.

Ich freue mich auf euch!
I bought my first ever bottle of Shōchū.
I LOVE IT!
Of course I had to know more and I did my homework.
Have a good Sunday.
All right friends, I've been feeling really inspired this week and wanted to do something creative. I like #sketchnoting to channel my creativity and mix it with something useful.
Since people often ask me how I create #sketchnotes, I thought I might create a free email course.
What do you think? -> Like + share, if you want me to do it
Any particular topics you'd like to see?
With #NewCrafts2024, @newcrafts celebrated their tenth edition, and I celebrated my first #NewCrafts. It was a blast! Highly recommend to meet this amazing crowd and broaden your horizon on all things socio-technical systems. Here are the #sketchnotes I took during the conference. A thread.
#Sketchnotes
What I love in my projects is that I’ll allow myself to wander and to follow every thing that catches my attention.
What is Japandi style?
In my quest for the perfect desktop organization I got caught up in reading about Japandi (again!)
Just a few notes.
@maritvandijk The solution: #sketchnotes. Just saying ...
Los geht’s
For the most part of my job I find myself right in the middle of this.
And I can understand and support both part.
What makes me laugh (and worry, a lot) is that nobody can understand that a trade-off is not a win-win.
A trade-off, in the large majority of the cases, is NOT a solution, it is only a temporary and short-sighted workaround where, maybe not immediately, everybody looses.
Just a thought
@echo_pbreyer Die #Sketchnotes in deinem Artikel finde ich toll!
@sachac Thank you for your beautiful #sketchnotes!
Thanks to them I suggested doing a sketchnote course at work (then given by a professional graphic recorder) and now I’m doing my #bestthingtoday sketches¹ for over a year. And those sometimes include nice little sketches like the ones attached that I then use elsewhere — those are part of growing a visual vocabulary, but also they are a lot of fun!
(besides: it might be useful to add the #sketchnotes hashtag)
