With Shark Week approaching, we're teaming up with Shark Allies for every race this July - making it Shark Month! Starting Tuesday night at Atlanta, our #81 Chevy will be proudly sporting the Shark Allies branding on the track, and we'll be sharing shark-related content here on Mastodon.

Shark Allies is a non-profit originally established in 2007 in Hawaii, and advocates for the global protection of sharks through various campaigns and programs - from education to legislation. We are beyond grateful for their efforts, and proud to show our support for them.

To kick off Shark Month, we'll be donating $200 to Shark Allies. If you are able, please consider supporting their work by making a donation at https://sharkallies.org. We'll also donate an extra $1 for every follow and boost we get!

If you are not in a position to donate but would like to contribute to saving sharks (and other animals), the biggest thing you can do is to adopt a #PlantBased diet and #vegan lifestyle. Bycatch from the fishing industry is a major cause of shark decline, and overfishing in general leads to the collapse of fisheries and ecosystems that sharks need to survive. By removing animals from your diet and not purchasing products with ingredients derived from animals, you are reducing the demand for these harmful and exploitative systems.

#Simracing Furs! I have decided to start my own Simracing League (currently focused on Assetto Corsa Competizione) with a few friends, we have just ran our first Event a couple of days ago and are looking for more participants!

Our League is focused on fun, fair play and accessibility, we welcome beginners and pro's alike, with a Rulebook that focuses on fair and enjoyable racing for everyone!

As we currently have no dedicated platform for the league
