So yesterday was 4/5 and today 5/5. What does that mean? Double geek days! May the 4th be with your square roots! (Or something to that effect.) There's even a contest on squarerootday.net if you're interested.

#hARToween Day 19: Creepy Candle (backlog)
I wanted to draw at least one more today, but my back is acting up (current guess just work stress and no bouldering - thankfully I should be back at the wall come Friday).
So instead of sitting at my desk I decided to use my tablet with #PixelStudio instead of my usual #aseprite. Not sure if heavily dripping candle is creepy enough, but I just wanted to draw one ^^
So I'm *still* under the weather which is becoming quite frustrating, and thus I tried distracting myself a bit drawing up and animating a little guy called Shroomy that for some reason popped up in my head a few days ago.
Tried out "#PixelStudio for #PixelArt" on my Android tablet for this. Kinda neat. I prefer #Aseprite by far, but for some pixeling on the couch this definitely works.
My son liked to post his pixelart on Pixel Studio's Pixel Network and apparently the dev just changed the terms and conditions so that the art you publish can become part of a training dataset for a new AI pixel-art generation app. You can’t even opt-out if you’re using the mobile app. They also started allowing AI art to be posted.
My son is so demotivated by this.
That's how you kill creativity. And I really hope your business too.
