I just surpassed last year's 113 #OpenStreetMap days of mapping. In 2014, I had a total of 122 mapping days. Given that it's still August, I'm confident that this year will be a new record for me. Apps like @streetcomplete certainly help, as does the fact that I'm working on a research project that uses local OSM data.

C'est incroyable comme on découvre la #ville différemment. Un quartier historique et patrimonial juste à côté de là où j'habite (#QuartierLouvois) à #Grenoble, un nouveau #graffiti sur le mur d'une maison et... une discussion avec un enfant, probablement angoissé par la rentrée scolaire, qui me demande si je suis la prof de CP :-)
Fixed the search for swimming pools.
Sometimes volunteers tag stuff differently in OSM, which can be very difficult to work with when you search.
And if the third party offering the data for your map then converts that data in their own way, then things can get even more spaghetti.
Anyways, done for the weekend. Should be working fine.
Important task in the week your kid starts daycare for the first time: add the location to OpenStreetMap, so you can find it in the public transport journey planner next week. One less thing to panic about.

FYI - The Connecticut Trail Symposium is calling for presentations and sponsorships and they have extended their request for proposals out to September 3rd.

I spent ages refactoring #WaterwayMapOrg code to produce debugging data to try to track down why WWM had the Missouri & Mississippi rivers separated by a weird fake river.
Turns out there was a loop in #OpenStreetMap Data.
Fix the input data, you fix the output data. 
Only a few days left to offer to host State of the Map 2026, the premier global OpenStreetMap annual conference!

@oldmapgallery What do you think about https://www.openstreetmap.org/#map=2/-5.4/35.2 It uses Mercator maps. Should it be changed, too, or is it OK for this purpose?
