Today the editorial board of _Mathematical Logic Quarterly_ (pub'd by #Wiley) resigned and launched a new #DiamondOA journal on the same topics.

The editorial board of the 52-yr old _Journal of Human Evolution_ just resigned to protest #Elsevier's interference with editorial practices, reducing journal quality, and insistence on a high #APC ($3990), reducing its affordability to authors in the field. "We all care deeply about the journal, our discipline, and our academic community; however, we find we can no longer work with Elsevier in good conscience."

There are already different lists around the web for uni policies taking different approaches to rights retention. This an attempt to capture them all.

Remember that OAD is a #crowdsourced #wiki and depends on the #OA community to keep it current and comprehensive.

Today I played #OAD for the first time. For the people who dont know it's a #foss game about ancient warfare where you build your civilisation and fight other players civilisiations. Back to my story I really enjoyed playing it. It felt like a new challenge, something where you try to see if your plan works out or not while you are completely unaware how everything functions. I can recommend!
