European & US diplomats ( cc: @AuswaertigesAmt ) insist on pressuring #HTS into kicking #Russia out of #Syria in exchange for future funding.

Which unfortunately shows just how little they understand the situation there.

HTS was once very vulnerable and close to defeat but #Turkey AND Russia saved (& "domesticated") them & gave them a task (to govern #Idlib).

They couldn't be at the point where they are now without the two other players and they won't forget that.
