(b) recorded by the (crippled) Gaza health authority as such.
The *actual* number of Palestinians in Gaza who have died over the last 22 months due to Israel's deliberate #starvation policy is undoubtedly *far* higher.
Someone who succumbs to wounds inflicted by a bomb or bullet or collapsing building, but who might well have survived had they not also been malnourished: not included in the 197.
Someone who dies of a disease that they might have survived had they not been malnourished: not included in the 197.
Someone whose hunger drove them to attempt desperate measures and sustained fatal injuries as a result: not included.
Someone who risked the #GHF kill-zone for the small chance of obtaining food for their hungry family and was fatally wounded by sniper fire: not included.
