We are in the midst of getting ready to migrate our MinIO servers to larger disks 30TB -> 60TB to address unexpectedly running critically low on space. The metadata overhead for all the small files consumed almost 1/3 of all our storage space, and is not reflected in Mastodon statistics!
The first step is cleaning preview cards, trimming them back to 1 year, to get us some head room and buy us some time for the migration. It is pegging a CPU core at 100% and should take another 17 hours. It should free up almost 800Gigs.
We will keep everyone up to date as we progress to more storage Nirvana.

I've never had a chance to look at Rust, but DEFCON CTF Qualifications got me to make a few first steps. No flag, but some experience what works how in (remote) code execution and in finding fake flags. Looking forward for the write-ups to learn how to do privilege escalation!
