I lost my #cybersecurity mentor, who's a fed employee, due to fed restrictions on DEI—despite this being an independent #WomenInCyber program. I'm starting a web dev & security business, & seeking a mentor with cybersec biz experience or deep web app sec & pentesting knowledge.

@SheHacksPurple@infosec.exchange I'm a doitall, mediocre in most things but I tend to do well when a variety of systems are involved.
Would 100% appreciate some guidance on setting up a SIEM/ SOAR, what to look for, how to think about security architecture as a whole.
For what I can contribute... I honestly don't know. I can do a lot of things from networking to admin-ing linux boxes, basic AWS security, VPN, some scripting and such. Not in super depth, but I'm decent at nailing down what the issue is quickly enough.
Also! Looking for friends, Fedi is cool and all but talking about specific technical issues/ findings in public... not really comfortable with that. Matrix preferred but I also have Discord (gah!).
