Simon knows nothing旧体诗写景如画，与汉语单音及语法自由有关，往往一句五字便连带三四种事物或两三种动态。举两个前日读到的例子。秦州杂诗其二杜甫秦州城北寺，胜迹隗嚣宫。 苔藓山门古，丹青野殿空。 月明垂叶露，云逐渡溪风。 清渭无情极，愁时独向东。颔联：“苔藓”和“丹青”似乎成了对“山门”和“野殿”的定语或修饰词，又似乎是独立于“山门”和“野殿”的周遭事物，与后者连绵不断。“山”和“野”亦如此模棱两可，但尺度大得多。十个字铺成广阔又细腻的画卷。颈联：每句写到三种事物，两种动态。以“垂叶”修饰“露”，由露见叶，以“渡溪”修饰“风”，由风见溪。再叠上照亮露珠的月光和逐风而去的云，忽而扩向天地，云溪风三者皆在流动，月叶露三者均晶莹剔透。这种浓缩在西文里几乎不可想象。此亦拜汉语语法自由之赐也。（第二首续在回复中）<a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/%E8%A5%BF%E8%92%99%E8%AF%BB%E8%AF%97" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#西蒙读诗</a>
