They come in all shapes and sizes! We already know that there a few very large and hot exoplanets out there, but WASP-103 b is a special one. The so-called tidal deformation is so strong that the planet appears to have more the shape of a rugby ball

Caught in the act! PDS 70 b is a young exoplanet which is currently undergoing formation. This means we do not only observe the planet, but also the so-called protoplanetary disc, the disc around the star that hosts the material that eventually forms the planets.
