Mo's photos<p>Glacial River Canyon</p><p>Jökulsárgljúfur¹, the eponymous gorge in north-eastern <a href="https://icelandphotos.co.uk/tags/Iceland" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Iceland</span></a> contains seven major waterfalls. Mo's photos<p>Bass</p><p>The Bass Rock is an island in the outer part of the Firth of Forth in the east of <a href="https://photog.social/tags/Scotland" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Scotland</span></a>. Mo's photos<p>Snow Eggs</p><p>A beautiful day in Höfn, and the sunlight casts shadows across the mountain faces.</p><p>And the title? Our little joke. Mo's photos<p>Balmerino Abbey</p><p>Last Thursday, we drove up to and along the shores of the River Tay. Our main goal was a ruined abbey in the lovely village of Balmerino.</p><p>It was a gorgeous February day, cold but with bright sunshine and blue skies. Mo's photos<p>Happy Accident</p><p>8am in mid-November, still quite dark and we were just leaving the hotel. The moon was rising above the glaciers so I stopped to take a shot of it.<br>What I hadn't realised was that I'd left the camera settings I'd used for aurora the night before. Mo's photos<p>Horsetail</p><p>One of the beauties of <a href="https://icelandphotos.co.uk/tags/Iceland" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Iceland</span></a> is that stunning scenery like this is so easily accessible.</p><p>This is Seljalandsfoss in southern Iceland, 60 m/197 ft of pure gorgeousness, situated a short walk from the main ring-road Route 1. Mo's photos<p>Shear Joy</p><p>You might have heard of wind shear, but have you ever seen it?</p><p><a href="https://photog.social/tags/Iceland" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Iceland</span></a> is one of the windiest places I've ever been, particularly on the south coast where this shot was taken. Mo's photos<p>In Summer And In Winter</p><p>This geothermal area by Námafjall mountain is a surreal landscape of hissing fumaroles, steaming vents, boiling mud pots, and mineral deposits. The powerful stench of sulphur pervades the air. Mo's photos<p>Rainbow Canyon</p><p>On a drizzly day, we drove through the eastern Highlands of <a href="https://photog.social/tags/Iceland" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Iceland</span></a> towards a controversial dam. Just as we reached the walkway across it, the sun came out behind us and this gorgeous rainbow appeared.</p><p>Hafrahvammagljúfur is a majestic canyon, roughly 8 km in length.
