It just dawned on me today I could pair a Bluetooth remote (is old FirestickTV remote) to my Retroid Pocket 4 Pro, install Jellyfin, and connect it to my TV for another media option. It worked as you would expect, nice and smooth! The biggest issue is that it seems the output resolution is lower than my TV, so I need to investigate that a bit.

Looks like #Retroid have done it again with yet another #RetroGaming handheld. The joke in this #gaming scene is that these companies release one of these every week.
But this one looks pretty tempting to me. I have a soft spot for #Nintendo clamshell designs (if you know me, you'll definitely know my love of the #DSi or #3DS systems)
Just the ability to close it in my purse? Yup!
Also, the purple looks so pretty.
I have managed to track down the various things that were preventing WPA3/SAE only Wifi networks working in Rocknix. Builds for the #retroid #rp5 and #rp5mini here. Still needs some cleanup and testing against our other targets to be sure I didn't introduce regressions. But this should be helpful if you, like me. I just bought my first #RetroHandheld!
I've been following the scene for 3 years now and almost got the RG353M at the end of 2022 but opted for a New Nintendo 3DS instead.
I've been really looking forward to seeing something affordable release with a 4:3 OLED screen, and while that seems to be coming in the form of the #Retroid Pocket Mini, I decided to get the #Anbernic RG40XX H instead, as it was less than 60 USD and I'm mostly interested in PS1 #emulation.

Since Suika Game has an official Android version now, I put it on my Retroid Pocket and screen-mapped physical controls to it. Now I can play Suika Game on my Retroid! 
Been replaying Link's Awakening on my Retroid Pocket 4 Pro and having fun with it! Got Retro Achievements enabled too! 
It's clear to me now that owning just a single #retrohandheld is not realistic. It's more sensible to own ALL of them.

CANNOT WAIT to get this thing and start playing so many games!
My first hours with the #Retroid Pocket 2S reminded me how easy setting up a #MiyooMini was... Starting from scratch, having to install standalone emulators, doing far more #RetroArch config than any sane human should have to do...
But I finally got there, and ended up withwhat seems like a really nice device. Comfortable to hold, really excellent sticks and triggers, it runs everything up to #Dreamcast and #PSP really well, and even a few #Gamecube games.
Now to actually play something...

3 grudnia pisałem, że zdecydowałem się na zakup Retroid Pocket 3+. Konsola dotarła do mnie na początku tego roku i sobie leżała w pudełku z uwagi na brak czasu, by się nią zająć.
Na Twitterze zapanował szał na RGXX od Anbernica, więc mnie wreszcie tknęło, by się Retroidem zająć.
Pierwsze wrażenia nad wyraz pozytywne, choć tak szczerze, na to liczyłem. Przyciski w porządku, ekran bardzo dobry jak na ten próg cenowy. Idiotyczne umiejscowienie głośników (z tyłu) to chyba największy minus.
Nie testowałem jeszcze zbyt wielu sprzętów, jednak tam, gdzie są spadki animacji (wybrane gry z NDS/3DS) to winę ponosi niedopracowany emulator.
