What do you all use to slice up sound #samples on #linux?

I've been using #bitwig and it seems to have reasonable tools for this purpose but a little janky for specifically slicing stuff. (Or maybe it's great I don't have much to compare with!)

*EDIT* Ended up using Audacity and it worked like a charm (even if I could barely read the interface due to no UI scaling options). This video helped a tonne: youtube.com/watch?v=jtbn5d0L13

Yet another MIDI monitor on yet another small, neat, microcontroller - this one the Waveshare RP2040 Matrix which has a great little 5x5 programmable LED matrix onboard.

And no, I'm not bored of these things yet :)

I'm so happy that with the contribution and efforts of so many people, #MPE is now becoming quite widespread in the music industry, opening the way for #MIDI 2.0.
