Hi Fediverse! My #Introduction - new here cause I'm missing the days of seeing art and humor all in one place without so much garbage. Some of my big interests are music (esp Japanese music), journaling/stationery, art...been considering getting into web dev lately as another hobby. I speak Japanese (more or less) and am LGBTQ! The sketch has evolved and I added some marks and thoughts but hey, this is a visual ethnography workshop and I use graphic ethnography so I guess this can count as learning-by-doing

This thing of sketching is getting a bit out of hand and today I finally challenged myself to sketch on a zoom call - which I found so weird (gonna write about it more)

There is a variation for v instead of f,
and another for c instead of Ch,
if you are trying to use these to write english instead of geblin.
The last character is for Tzren, echo, repeat.
The lower right shows the letter order.
Ascending, first two characters of a line branch right.
Consonants to outside, vowels to inside.
Consonant lines can have no vowel following them.
For a vowel not proceeded by a consonant, a null pointer line is added.
There is a null pointer for base vowels a, e, o
and another for derivative vowels u, w, i, y

I've been off social media for a while now because I find it intimidating. A friend recommended signing up on Mastodon, so here I am.
Streaks are meaningless to me, perhaps I have too many interests ? There’s no way I could get to everything important to me every day. Am I the only one who feels like the “don’t break your streak” isn’t really all that motivating?
I journal most days. I exercise most days. I practice music most days. Whether I do them everyday or not seems irrelevant.
