Harry Sintonen<p>Updating the homelab server BIOS was a breeze with <a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/JetKVM" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>JetKVM</span></a> from a browser running on the MacBook Pro. Before this, it involved a fair amount of gymnastics due to the setup being a 4U server without a monitor permanently connected.</p>
Harry Sintonen<p>I picked up my <a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/JetKVM" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>JetKVM</span></a> today. So far, this device has surpassed my expectations: The first positive impression was the sturdy metal body and robust construction. Installation and setup were easy and very straightforward. The software still has some missing (in-progress) features, but everything I need is working great. I even set up <a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/tailscale" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>tailscale</span></a> on the device to keep full control of the environment used for the cloud-based remote access.</p>

Den-Fi :super:<p>Good week for <a href="https://anothersuper.social/tags/homelab" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>homelab</span></a> stuff. My <a href="https://anothersuper.social/tags/JetKVM" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>JetKVM</span></a> and <a href="https://anothersuper.social/tags/PiKVM" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>PiKVM</span></a> extenders both showed up. The JetKVM is VERY polished for such a new product. Being able to stream ISOs instead of download/uploading them is very cool. As always, the PiKVM remains king though. This MultiPort extender is a gamechanger. It will be hooked up to two <a href="https://anothersuper.social/tags/TrueNAS" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>TrueNAS</span></a> servers and 2 <a href="https://anothersuper.social/tags/Proxmox" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Proxmox</span></a> servers with full ATX control. I also got some <a href="https://anothersuper.social/tags/Unifi" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Unifi</span></a> Protect AI Ports (and the rackmount) bringing new detection features to my existing cameras.</p>

TechnoTim<p>My JetKVM just arrived! It’s incredible how the design of this little device makes something as technical as a KVM, feel so personal. </p><p><a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/homelab" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>homelab</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/kvm" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>kvm</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/jetkvm" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>jetkvm</span></a></p>
