@techlore proton pass is good in that your data on proton pass is fully #encrypted. So if you use a hardware based #passkey such as a #yubikey to secure the main account, and have all your other accounts within use software based passkeys and 2FA, wouldn't be as much of a risk even if Proton Pass got breached as a service.

@lns 99.9% of my email communication is e2e encrypted, I am using #DeltaChat since years, never managed to actually use encrypted email in any other way, ex. why should my mom learn how to use GPG? meanwhile she and several family members that are new to phones are sending #encrypted #email to me every day without even realizing it

So today I tired #mkfs.btrfs and this works. I was using #gparted, which can’t create #encrypted file systems and so I created a blank (cleared) one, used #cryptsetup to create the #encryption on the device, and then created the brtrfs file system.
I managed to create an #encrypted #Linux #Filesystem on a #USBStick. The reason I wanted this is that I want to back up some directories, which contain secure information and also #NTFS, the one that comes on most drives, doesn’t know how to handle #SymbolicLinks properly. I don’t need or want to share the stick with any non-Linux machines.
