The Rail Life<p>On this day in 2014, EMU sets on the Doomben line.</p><p>The Doomben line is a short branch line on Brisbane's narrow gauge (1067mm) suburban network. Trains do not run on this line after 8pm Monday to Saturday, and not at all on a Sunday.</p><p>The EMU sets were Brisbane's first electric trains, introduced in 1979.
