Their goal: to detect patterns in the ancient light that would prove the newborn universe expanded in an exponential growth spurt called cosmic inflation."</p><p>Pros: they are cancelling a project which only goal was to "prove" inflation based on a measurement of radiation that is not even an after glow of the Big Bang.
