NekoArc<p>Finally getting around to a several year old project of restoring a spare Game Boy I have. I think I picked this up at a goodwill but it's been so long I don't remember. This shell was absolutely DISGUSTING but it's nice and clean now as best as I can get it.</p><p>I don't plan on retrobriting it because I want it to show off it's character when it's in working condition. Once I replace all the corroded battery contacts, I'll test it to see if it works. Thankfully, none of the corrosion seeped into the main boards at all so I have high hopes for it.</p><p>If it works, I'll get to work replacing the screen, and order some speaker and power mods to modernize it a bit. Unsure if I'm gonna go with a rechargeable battery or not sometime down the line.</p><p><a href="https://tsukihi.me/tags/Gaming" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Gaming</span></a> <a href="https://tsukihi.me/tags/RetroGaming" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>RetroGaming</span></a> <a href="https://tsukihi.me/tags/Nintendo" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Nintendo</span></a> <a href="https://tsukihi.me/tags/GameBoy" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>GameBoy</span></a> <a href="https://tsukihi.me/tags/DMG" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>DMG</span></a> <a href="https://tsukihi.me/tags/ConsoleRepair" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>ConsoleRepair</span></a> <a href="https://tsukihi.me/tags/ConsoleMods" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>ConsoleMods</span></a> <a href="https://tsukihi.me/tags/ConsoleModding" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>ConsoleModding</span></a> <a href="https://tsukihi.me/tags/DIY" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>DIY</span></a></p>
