I saw it in the movie theatre when it came out and thought it was terrific. Rewatching now with partner who hadn't seen it. The look and colors are just amazingly true or so very aligned to the original.
I don't think #Bladerunner2049 gets talked about as much as it should
Skończyłem czytać scenariusz do „Blade Runner 2049”. To tzw. shooting script, więc jest absolutnie dokładnie tak jak w filmie, nie mam więc komentarza. Poza tym, że literacko wymiata i jak nie przeczytasz, toś trąba.
A teraz „Duel of the Fates”, wczesny scenariusz do epizodu IX Gwiezdnych Wojen. Początek zupełnie inny.
SAPPER: How does it feel, killing your own kind?
K: I don’t retire my own kind. We don’t run. Only old models run.
SAPPER: You new models. You’re happy scraping the shit. You’ve never seen a miracle.
—Hampton Fancher, “Blade Runner 2049” (screenplay)
LUV: I’m Luv.
K: He named you. You must be special.
He steals a once over, understanding. She gives an unembarrassed nod of confession.
—Hampton Fancher, “Blade Runner 2049” (screenplay)
“LUV. Polite, efficient. Perfect. Moral as a tornado and about as safe. Beautiful, yes. The way a sword can be if it’s safely behind glass.”
—Hampton Fancher, “Blade Runner 2049” (screenplay)
“Without a break in stride she PRIES into the door seam with her FINGERS to OPEN it. A show of tremendous force. Perhaps deliberate.”
—Hampton Fancher, “Blade Runner 2049” (screenplay)
@astro_jcm I love what he did with #bladerunner2049 - so lovingly nodded to Vangelis, but created something all his own.
Even though I sometimes enter photo mode by mistake and it’s annoying, I really like how #cdprojektred made it in #cyberpunk2077
And you do have things to capture, they did an amazing job. Also just watched the #bladerunner2049 recently and I really see how the developers inspired from it. But made it so real.
Blade Runner via Sorcerer: Demons are Memories
Up early, chatting with MadJay as we tinker with our creative endeavors before dawn. I've got Blade Runner 2049 running in the background. That movie is growing on me more and more as time goes on. Got me thinking about Sorcerer.

I give #BladeRunner2049 an 8/10 BTW. It’s pretty close to a 9/10 movie for me but I feel like it’s missing something. I’m not sure if it would be a quicker pace, or less ambiguity.
Just watched #bladerunner2049. The cinematography is amazing, but apart from that it was kind of meh? The pacing felt way of. Guy walks around five minutes, nothing happens, than there is a 0.78s cut of something important and if you don't get it the story doesn't make any sense. Also why should I care about any of the characters? Sure, one is Harrison Ford. But is that enough? (Silent voice: "It's Harrison Ford!")
@slyborg That was genius: it quietly and constantly reminds us that pollution deeply altered the planet.
#BladeRunner2049 tries to pull the same trick: orange haze in Las Vegas, the grayish desert surrounding the protein farm, the ash-like fallout, the storm at the sea wall of Sepulveda Blvd, followed moments later by a calm snowfall at Wallace Corporation HQ.
They overdid it just a bit, haven't they?
