OmilenI really like insects and every time I can I observe them and take a photo, when I took these photos in Aalborg Dk. I discovered that not only humans are expert milkers. This black ant (lasius niger) takes care of aphids, which it then milks. The ants climb the branches of a small bush and head towards a group of aphids (Aphidae) that are calmly sucking the sap from the plant. When they reach them, an ant touches the back of one of the aphids with its antennae and it immediately releases a drop of sugary liquid that is quickly drunk by the ant.
